A Little Frustration
So, it's been a long time! As some have noticed, I've been a bit more active of late, even going so far as to post a new story! it's not great, and I've mentioned that my writing feels blergh and clunky. I suppose that it didn't help a little while ago when someone said my writing had far too many short sentences and I should learn how to write properly.
I had a whole speech in my mind that writing isn't always about long flowing sentences that are peppered with a tremendous amount of imagery and flourishes. But I didn't say that. Instead I just kind of looked at my writing and thought 'huh, yeah i suppose they're right'. And I hated that.
